When we set out on this journey, we wanted to make sure our heritage in science and making better gut health solutions for everyone extended to a wider effect on peoples habits and health.  As we like to say, making people feel #betterinsideandout.

That's why we work with a wide range of qualified and inspirational people who like PERKii, want to improve people's knowledge and ability to better themselves. They believe in probiotics, gut health, good living and the power of PERKii.  Enjoy their regular additions to our blog and follow explore their experiences.

Jennifer Smallridge AEP          

Jennifer Smallridge first discovered a love for movement at the tender age of four. She currently lectures in Exercise Science and Functional Human Anatomy and also consults in private practice. Jennifer has developed a strong interest in mindfulness, and has since taken extra qualifications in Clinical Pilates and Therapeutic Yoga.


Alison Morgan           

Alison Morgan is a specialist Business Coach; helping small business owners create successful strategies for Business Growth, Branding, Websites, Start Ups, plus more. Alison is the creator of the Australian Business Coaching and Networking Events and the Mindfulbiz Podcast. In addition, Alison is a respected Industry Blogger, regularly reviewing and showcasing products, services and retreats.

 

Lauren Atkins APD          

Lauren Atkins is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Co Director of OnCore Nutrition, providing holistic and tailored nutrition advice with a view to prevent, manage and overcome cancer. They have worked at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the Children's Cancer Centre at The Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne and lectured for Deakin, Monash, La Trobe and Victoria Universities in Melbourne.


Anika Rouf APD       

Anika Rouf is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and a PhD Candidate. Her area of research investigates the use of social media to improve eating habits of young adults. She is passionate about healthy home cooking and working towards small sustainable behaviour changes.

 

Kate Duncan         

Kate grew up in a small rural town in South Australia before moving to California and starting her career as a paramedic and then a firefighter paramedic. After 13 years she turned her attention to helping people on the inside through the mediums of mindfulness, yoga and adventure. Kate is now a yoga and mediation teacher and a mindfulness based life coach. She runs retreats, workshops and adventures designed to empower people find and live their life’s purpose.

 

Emma Williams APD         

Emma is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Nutritionist who is passionate about encouraging freedom from diets through the power of real food. She specialises in showing people how to eat wholesome, healthy foods in a way that is scientifically proven to prevent disease and maximise health and wellbeing.

 

Sharon Rosenrauch BPsyc, MNut          

Sharon is a nutrition consultant focused on plant-based, wholesome foods. With a history of early illness herself, she was inspired to learn more and gain education on the physical and mental benefits of a good diet. As a former lecturer at Bond University an Endeavour College of Natural Health, she has taken her education skills into developing diet solutions and FODMAP friendly resources for the general public.

 

Kara Landau          

Kara Landau “Travelling Dietitian” is an Australian media nutritionist, Accredited Practicing Dietitian and new healthy product developer passionate about promoting the benefits of a gut healthy, anti-inflammatory diet, to the global population at large.

 

Ashleigh Hamilton APD         

Ashleigh Hamilton is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian who is passionate about the relationship between nutrition and mental health. Ashleigh focuses on a whole of body approach to health, encompassing both physical and mental aspects, and believes that moderation and balance are vital to creating meaningful change.

 

Nathan Balwin APD, AN       

Nathan Baldwin is an emerging new health professional that loves to look at all things 'health' uniquely. Studying both his Bachelor of Exercise & Nutrition Science and Master of Dietetics (Graduate June '17) at the University of Queensland provided a brilliant platform for Nathan to further expand his knowledge. Nathan has a particular interest in genetics and how our foods, behaviours and environment influence our genes and visa versa.

 

Andi Lew         

Combine 25 years of experience as a live TV & Radio Presenter, with life dedication in health & wellness, Andi is an engaging storyteller. Andi researches the latest information in natural health care to custom create wellness and lifestyle content. Author of 6 books, of which 3 are best sellers, she also owned and ran a Wellness Clinic for 13 years.

 

Kitty Chao AEP       

Kitty is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist passionate about changing lives through exercise. Specialising in Chronic Disease Management and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation, with a special interest in strength and conditioning and functional movement patterns, Kitty is committed to motivating positive and healthy change to allow her clients to be the best they can be.
